Living Room
This living room was a challenge because of its shape. Rectangular and long. The customer did not want to have a living room centered by the tv as they do not watch it that often. They bought a tv looks like an art piece when it is not turned on. I suggested them separate the room into three parts. One part is for watching tv, one part is reading and another part is for their toddler’s activities. Children spend most of their time in the living room, playing next to the adult caregivers. I show my respect by creating a space in the main living room. They can sit, draw and play at the table while their parents enjoy reading books next to them. We use blue color for the accent and use it one kussens, poefs and accessories.
Laundry
The space was small but enough for the laundry machines and storage. We covered the air conditioning items to prevent the bad view and put shelves wherever we could.
