Living & Dining Room

The brief for this space was having industrial elements, feelings but still having a cozy family living room. In order to achieve that we used real concrete panels on the back of the tv wall.
As a designer, my first attempt is always going for the ‘real’ material, not the realistic look. We poured real concrete panels. We added a bioethanol fireplace in the middle of the long wall to separate the dining area and living area. You can see the fireplace both from the couch and the table.
The tabletop of the dining table is mat ceramic. It is indeed a cold material that matches with the concrete panels.
The sofa, armchair, and coffee table have warmer colors but old, rough textures.
At the beginning of the project, I first drew initial sketches and 2D plans for deciding the layout of the space. After that, in order to decide the colors and materials, I did the 3D renders. I gave consultancy for ordering the furniture.
